RAATV Advertiser Guidelines

These guidelines govern every commercial submitted to run on RAATV. They exist to protect our viewers and your brand. Our creative team reviews every submission before first air and reserves the right to decline or pull any commercial that violates these rules.

1. Creative Review Process

Every commercial is reviewed within 3 business days of upload. Reviewers check format compliance, audio levels, brand-safety conformity, captions availability, and factual claims substantiation. You'll receive an approve/revise/reject decision via email with specific feedback.

2. Content & Category Restrictions

We want to keep RAATV a welcoming place for all viewers. Certain categories are not accepted at all; others are restricted to specific programming tiers.

Never accepted

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or content that demeans a protected group
  • Explicit sexual content, nudity, or sexualized content involving minors
  • Graphic violence, gore, or torture
  • Misinformation, conspiracy theories, or debunked health claims
  • Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Illegal products or services
  • Unregistered securities, crypto pump-and-dump schemes
  • Political advertising for candidates or ballot initiatives
  • Psychic, clairvoyant, or paranormal "fortune-telling" services
  • Weight-loss products making unsubstantiated claims
  • Deceptive before/after or "miracle cure" imagery

Accepted with restrictions

  • Alcohol — only for 21+ audiences, no content appealing to minors, include "drink responsibly" text
  • Gambling / sports betting — only in jurisdictions where legal, include problem-gambling helpline
  • Dating services — no explicit imagery, legitimate platforms only
  • Financial services — APR, fees, and limitations disclosed; no payday-loan-style predatory terms
  • Weight loss / health — FDA-registered products only; unsubstantiated claims are rejected
  • Cannabis — accepted only in state/country-level where legal with strict age-gating
  • Pharmaceuticals — must include fair-balance side effect disclosure

3. Brand Suitability Tiers

You can request that your commercial run only against content you consider brand-safe for your category. Three standard tiers:

If not specified, commercials default to Tier B. You can also exclude specific shows from your campaign at any time via the self-serve dashboard.

Advertisers get real-time dashboards showing impressions, quartile completion (25/50/75/100%), skip rate, CPM spend, and pacing against contracted impressions. Raw event logs are retained for 90 days. Third-party verification pixels (MOAT, DoubleVerify, IAS) can be attached to your VAST tag.

7. Takedown & Appeal

We reserve the right to pull any commercial that triggers viewer complaints above a complaint threshold, violates the guidelines even after approval, or becomes associated with off-platform conduct inconsistent with these standards. Pulled commercials are credited pro-rata for undelivered impressions. Appeals go to compliance@richazzauntietv.com and are reviewed within 5 business days.
