By submitting films, video, or other content to RAATV ("we," "us," "RAATV"), you (the "Submitter") agree to all of the following. Please read it in full before you submit.
You own or control all rights to everything in your submission — footage, music, graphics, names, logos, locations, and the likeness of everyone who appears in it — and you have obtained every release, license, and clearance required, including talent, music, and any third-party or AI-generated material. You have full authority to submit it.
RAATV reviews many submissions and creates its own programming. Your submission is not confidential and creates no partnership, employment, or joint-venture relationship. RAATV may already be developing, or may independently develop, content similar to yours.
You release and waive any claim against RAATV based on the idea, theme, or similarity of your submission to any content RAATV develops, produces, acquires, or airs, whether created before or after your submission.
RAATV is not required to review, respond to, accept, air, or pay for your submission. Any acceptance requires a separate written agreement signed by RAATV. You are owed no compensation unless and until such an agreement is signed.
RAATV is not obligated to return or preserve your submission and may retain or delete it at its discretion. Please keep your own copies.
You grant RAATV a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to view, store, copy, and internally evaluate your submission for the purpose of considering it.
Your submission does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights, is not defamatory or unlawful, and complies with all applicable laws.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RAATV and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, demand, damage, loss, or cost (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your submission or your breach of this agreement.
Your submission is made at your own risk. RAATV is not liable for any loss, damage, or use of your submission, including any failure to keep it confidential.
You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
When you submit through the RAATV filmmaker portal, checking the acceptance box and typing your full legal name is your binding electronic signature, and you consent to conducting this transaction electronically (E-SIGN Act). Your name, the date and time, and your IP address are recorded as proof of acceptance.
This is the entire agreement about your submission and may only be changed in a writing signed by RAATV. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Will County, Illinois.
